The most vulnerable time for your vehicle to become scratched is during the drying process! Every time you touch your vehicle with a towel, microfiber accessory, or another drying accessory, you are introducing swirl marks, scratches, and marring to your finish. This state-of-the-art drying accessory provides a high-powered, continuous blast of air to any surface, effectively removing water without any chance of scratching.
This little guy is a beast! The expanding hose is pretty cool to.
I like how small it is and how you can store it in Most places one thing I wish I came with a couple different types of nozzles not just a standard 2
This is the first time I have used an air dryer for drying mine and my husband's vehicles. I read as many reviews on it as I could and decided to get this one instead of the bigger Air Cannon because I did not want to have to deal with the possibility of having a separate 220V outlet installed just for the cannon. I also like how nice it looks mounted to my wall, as this also gets it off the floor and out of the way. I figured that the least amount of time a towel spends touching the truck, the less amount of time I have to spend on the truck doing correction to make it perfect again. And I only have to use one towel instead of 4 or 5. We have two 4Runners which I do the washing/detailing on, mine and my husband's. I have applied the Advanced Graphene coating on my truck and the Graphene Spray Coating on my husband's, and I use the graphene shampoo. I read one review where the user stated that it took a long time to dry her 4Runner and it didn't seem to do a good job of blowing the water off. There were two questions that came to my mind: What type of coating was she using (graphene, wax, or nothing at all); and if she was using it on the highest setting. I have not had any issues with this little unit blowing the water off whatsoever. The hydrophobic properties of the graphene makes the water bead so well that it blows off incredibly easily. I use it on the highest setting and the pointy hose end instead of the flat hose end. At first my husband was leery and skeptical of this purchase but after he used it the first time he was sold on it. He was impressed with how well it worked. I do want to make a couple of comments to help you out: 1. This method of drying does take longer than drying using towels. However, given that it is a safer method in that you can't get surface swirl from towels if you don't use towels, the amount of time you will save down the road when it comes time for paint correction prior to reapplication of your sealant is well worth the trade off. 2. It will take a few times of using it before you figure out the best "pattern" for drying your vehicle. I have found that if I use one towel while I'm drying, I can wipe away any new water spots or any kind of funky stuff left behind from the soap if I don't get it all rinsed off. I also use the towel to blow water in to when I am nearing the end of the process, especially when going back over the cracks and crevices. This way you don't blow more water over your dry surface. 3. If you have a bigger vehicle and have to stand on a step stool to dry the truck, drape the hose over your shoulders and back so that you don't drag them across the hood/doors. 4. Save the wheels for last. 5. You can also use this to blow out your vehicle; I use the power on a lower setting for this. You can also use it for drying your floor mats if you take them out to wash them (i.e. WeatherTech). Because it is warmed air, I used it to dry my dog after a bath with the power on low. He didn't seem to mind much. I hope this helps.
This blower works great, the power cord is pretty long and the hose also is a good length and the ends are just what is needed for drying the car and removing water
I’ve been eyeing the Air Cannon Jr for a while now and have finally had it with using my battery powered leaf blower for drying vehicles. I saw a sale an Adam’s site and pulled the trigger. It arrived within the week and I put it right to the test on a full detail of a vehicle I was getting ready to sell. In the process I needed to rinse different products off and have the surface dry for the next step.. This thing saved me so much time I grinned every time I fired it up. One of my pet peeves is having drips from mirrors and seams as I apply compound or wax. The narrow nozzle eliminated the hidden water in these areas quickly. This is something I could never accomplish with the leaf blower. It’s obviously easy to handle and now I don’t have to worry about accidentally bumping the vehicle while maneuvering a heavy blower. The warmed air is a bonus and something you don’t get on the less expensive amazon units.
The Adam’s Air Cannon Jr. is a new, forced air dryer, ideal for drying an entire vehicle in a safe and efficient manner. The Air Cannon cuts drying time significantly and incorporates noise-cut technology for quieter operation. Adam’s Air Cannon delivers heated air in less than 30-seconds. This self-expanding and retracting hose takes up significantly less space than conventional air dryers. This forced air dryer safely removes water, soap suds, and any loose surface contamination without the risk of scratching your finish. The rubberized attachments allow you to get close to the crevices with either a wide fan or pointed tip approach without damaging the surface.
One of the downfalls of using a compressed air system or forced air dryer is the amount of space it takes up in your garage, but not now! The Air Cannon Jr. was designed to get the job done and be smaller to store. Conventional hoses remain expanded and are bulky to store on the wall— With the Adam’s Air Cannon Jr., you start with roughly 5 feet of metal reinforced hose and with one single switch, you’ve expanded your reach to 16.5 feet! Once you’re done, the hose creates its own vacuum and retracts back up for easy storage. The rubberized, swivel casters are smooth and work around the vehicle with ease. Even in the dustiest of environments, this filtered air dryer removes the dust from being blasted onto your vehicle— the filter system cleans in minutes with an easily removable filter cover held in by two plastic spring tabs.
When drying your vehicle, you can reach for a leaf blower or an air chuck attachment for a compressor, but neither are specific for safely and effectively drying your vehicle. A leaf blower does not have a filter and any contaminants floating throughout the air get projected onto your finish. Both a leaf blower and an air chuck from a compressor are loud and noisy for repeated use. An air chuck has a narrow tip that will have you drying for hours! Adam’s Air Cannon simplifies these flaws at a quiet 88 decibels, filtered air, and a powerful 1544W motor with an adjustable speed control! Simply turn the unit on, and dial in your preferred air power effortlessly. At maximum velocity, this air dryer moves air at 4470 feet per minute! This industry-leading air dryer heats air significantly faster than predecessors and features a neoprene reinforced handle that no matter how hot the hose gets, your hands stay safe from the heat.
