Your vehicle is maintained to perfection up top, but what about the bottom? Over the past 18 years, we've perfected the process of maintaining and caring for your vehicle’s finish, your wheels and tires, your engine bay, and the inside components of your vehicle… But what about underneath? When you’re driving your weekend cruiser and swerve to miss the dirt patch with the wheels and tires, the dirt still goes someplace! When you’re driving home in your daily driver after a road trip and countless dirt roads, the dirt had to have settled somewhere! Introducing Adam’s Undercarriage Wand features a 3 part system combining the pressure of your power washer, with reach and effectiveness that you have on the exterior surfaces during a regular wash!
I bought this after reading tons of reviews of the cheap units on Amazon. What interested me about this unit was the build quality and low profile as I would be using it for both SUVs and a low profile sports car. Primary usage is to remove road salt from the winter. It was confirmed by Adams (EXCELLENT customer service!) this is the upgraded model which contains the 1.3 GPM/65 degree nozzles vs the original with 2.0 GPM/45 degree nozzles. The original configuration apparently required a very strong pressure washer. I have not closely inspected the unit to confirm myself though the spray appears to be 60 degree. I use an electric pressure washer for my vehicles (1700-PSI 1.2-GPM) which unfortunately resulted in a gentle mist of water while using this device which would not clean anything. I then had to break out the gas pressure washer (2400 PSI 2.5-GPM) which worked much better. I actually knocked off some flaking rust on my truck underbody; I felt it was strong enough without being "too" strong for comfort. Because the use of this undercarriage cleaner will be infrequent, I am ok to drag out the gas pressure washer when needed. Build quality is excellent and everything worked well when in use with no sign of leaks or plugging. What would be great is if they had some sort of adapter which would allow you to spray soap under the vehicle before washing off. Though I suspect (hope) the water will at least neutralize the corrosive effects of road salt.
I have recently switched over to "touchless" washes for our cars (absolutely the way to go!) The downside of that is that since we don't go to the car wash anymore, we haven't been able to give our cars a good undercarriage flush whenever we wash them. That's kind of a big deal when you live here in Minnesota where you need to get that nasty road salt off on a regular basis. Then I found this! It is perfect! I have it hooked up to a 2200 psi pressure washer with 2.1 gpm flow and you can just see the grime flow off the bottom of the car. Plus, as opposed to the car wash that just does a quick one-pass, you can give it an extra thorough cleaning for as long as you want, leaving the undercarriage probably cleaner than any car wash would. Easy to set up. Easy to store. Easy to use. So glad I found this.
Thank God I just watched your YouTube for this device. Ripped mine out of the box hooked it up and couldn’t figure out what you guys were thinking with that single wheel pivoting coupler. I had hooked it up at the wrong end. Hahaha. It’s perfect, fits under my very low profile car and makes me comfortable with driving it on dry but salty winter roads!
My Sun Joe 3000 works, but is not powerful enough to pull the soap at the same time. It’s not clogged because it pulls soap perfectly except when this attachment is connected. The output of the upward nozzles is also less than inspiring. A 4000 psi machine would probably earn this attachment 5 stars.
I purchased this on black Friday. finally got around to using it and works great. one nozzle was off by 90 degrees but took 2 secs to fix. i had a p/s leaking and used it to clean everything before dropping the p/s rack. so i'm very happy. would suggest to anyone who doesn't wanna get super dirty when working on their car or anyone who is worried about salt from the road during the winter to prevent rust.
