I was incredibly lucky to have received this in a mystery box. It sat for about a week before I was able to use it on my G8. As expected, it worked like a charm. It really surprised me at how much water was trapped in the creases of my car. Unfortunately (not the tools fault here) it also required me to clean the car again because it blew out so much dirt and debris from the crevices on my G8's maiden detail as its new owner. However, second time around, no dirt seeping from the side mirrors, or bugs flying out of the nooks and crannies of the front grill. The biggest downside I would say to this tool, which is arguable, is location dependent. Even at nearly October, 90F degree temperatures in Vegas, coupled with the hotter than ambient air coming from the Blaster, really gave my car more of a blow dry. If you're not using good, clean water, I can see having a few water streaks to deal with. This also would make a bit difficult to apply the H20 Guard and Gloss right away, but I didn't have to worry about that because I was starting fresh and building up protection from a stripped paint. I'm still giving this product 5 stars because it works like a charm, and all the drawbacks I listed, I feel, can be overcome in time with practice and technique in detailing and a familiarity with products and applications.
