Bought as a replacement for my worn out one works great and actually seems better quality than the original.
It did not last.
I’ve had 3 of these, and they all stop working after 2-3 uses. I live in Las Vegas; the city has very hard water. I wash my vehicles every 6-9 weeks. So… I’m not sure if it’s the hard water or what but after about the third use the trigger handle doesn’t snap back when you let go - meaning when you want the water to stop, it still flows for about 2 seconds (eternity) after you let go because the trigger mechanism failed. By the 4th use, I literally have to pull the trigger back to stop the water otherwise it’ll just keep spraying. I’ve always dried them after use and stored them inside. I tried taking them apart; I tried soaking them in distilled white vinegar to dissolve any hard water deposits. Nothing worked. Adam’s replaced one for free (which also failed) and I bought a second one a couple years after my first one thinking maybe the issue had been fixed. Nope. The positive side is I liked the rubber tipped nozzle and if it bumped the clear coat it wouldn’t scratch it. I’ve since just bought a similar sprayer at the local auto parts store for $7 and it’s been working fine.
I had my doubts about buying this but very I’m glad I did. I had a firehouse nozzle that made me think I had bad water pressure. I was surprised when I used the Adams nozzle for the first time and I had a lot more water flow. The spray pattern is nice too. This thing is a lot more rugged then it looks online. Definitely buy this thing.
I just received this nozzle and I am hooked on it. I had two sets of wheels and tires that needed deep cleaning, so I researched the videos on the Adam's site. The red nozzle spoke to me, so I threw it in my recent order. This nozzle is fantastic as I can control the stream from soft to blast. Along with the wheel and tire brush kit, wheel cleaner and tire and rubber cleaner, I have never had such an easy time of doing the heretofore dreaded wheels and tires. Both sets look better than new. I didn't dress the tires with the VRT, using Optimum instead, but I do use the VRT on all the rubber trim on the MINI and the Outback. I'm becoming a convert to Adam's!!
Everyone needs a hose nozzle, but not everyone wants to buy a Foam Gun. We wanted to provide this nozzle separately to make sure you have all of the tools necessary to wash your vehicle at home.
