The SK Pro is the latest advancement in our journey to paint perfection. This detailing tool is designed specifically for comfort and efficiency to accelerate your paint correction program. The 5000 OPM capable motor allows users to apply various amounts of pressure without the chance of the motor becoming fatigued or worn down. This long throw polisher weighs under 5.5 pounds and features a convenient detachable 25-foot cord that allows you to keep the extension cords stowed away after a polishing job. Unlike most dual-action polishers on the market, Adam’s SK Pro provides efficiency, power, and balance at a fraction of the price.

When developing this machine, we wanted the orbit to be standard to our customer base, but crafted for the most effective polishing experience possible. Adam’s SK Pro offers 1000W and 5000 OPM’s at maximum speed, meaning you’re not only covering the maximum amount of surface area with the 15mm orbit, but also displacing compounds and polishes in the most even way possible. Having a speed over 5500 OPM is effective for paint correction, however, raises the risk of burning your paint as your displacing paint and friction faster than usual. The Adam’s SK Pro evenly displaces 5 inches of polishing pad surface while equally abrading compounds and polishes to the most optimum gloss levels possible.

When polishing your paint, one of the most underestimated forms of detailing help is lighting. Lighting exposes swirls, imperfections, compound cycling, and others during your detailing process. Our Swirl Finder Light outputs 170 lumens through a combined beam and bar light setup— this light helps to show swirls and scratches in any finish and help your path to paint perfection. Adam’s SK Pro features a 120 lumen LED light, the ideal light to mimic sunlight for your polishing experience. While this light is incorporated into the unit, you have zero power-draw even at maximum speed.

Adam’s SK Pro has the ability to change from 5 inch backing plates to 6 backing plates on the fly with the help of the supplied M8 Allen Key. A few turns of the centering bolt and you’re increasing your polishing surface from 5 inches to 6 inches mated to a comfortable 15mm orbit. When switching from 5 inch backing plates to 6 backing plates, ensure the center nut is seated safely inside the rings of the backing plate guide.

During the development process, our primary focus was ensuring that the customer has not only the most effective polishing experience, but also the safest and least fatiguing polishing session possible. In our research, we discovered that vibrations caused near the handle and polishing head of Dual-Action polishers can exert excessive amounts of energy that travel through your hands and arms during polishing. Through the use of the raised rubber grips, touch-points, and trigger controls, we were able to reduce the vibrations to 25% lower than competitor products on the market today. The reduced vibrations help your focus to remain on detailing and away from fatiguing your body with maximum vibrations of 38 Hz between the head and handle at maximum speed.

In addition to being safer and a functional polishing tool, the Adam’s SK Pro features more dense plastic and an insulated casing to reduce the sound being amplified from the machine. As you polish your paint to perfection, your ears are an arm's length away from the polishing surface— with that being said, the Adam’s SK Pro maintains a safe decibel level for repeated exposure under 90 DBA.

The below graph was constructed utilizing a Vibration Probe and Decibel Audiometer— Standing 2 feet away from the Decibel Audiometer, the polishers were all run at their lowest speed and highest speed to take in their sound output. For vibration, the units were measured on 4 points of data on both the handle and polisher head— those numbers were then taveraged and inputted into the graph.

Detachable, 25-foot cord:
The SK Pro features a heavy-duty, rubberized 25-foot cord that safely clicks into place during use and cannot become detached on accident. The snug fit of the power plug ensures a thorough connection and will not prematurely wear the sockets out through repeated use. Adam’s SK Pro offers a durable, scratch resistant cord, meaning that if you happen to scuff your paint with the cord, you’re safe from doing any heavy damage!

Lightened & Smoothened Rotating Assembly:
The SK Pro boasts 1000W and an effective 5000 OPM capable motor but to go one-step further, we engineered the counter-balance inside the 15mm throw to have smoother edges and travel smoother through the polisher head, reducing the vibrations through the unit. This rotating assembly features a heavy-duty gear set and driveshaft to allow you to polish with either 5 inch or 6 inch without any powertrain issues.

Progressive, Slow-Start Trigger:
The SK Pro offers a ribbed, progressive trigger that allows to modulate the amount of oscillations during your first few passes of compounding or polishing. The variable speed controller allows you to switch from 1000-5000 OPM’s on the fly with ease. Even though our Cordless Swirl Killer is capable of 6000 OPM, we chose a 5000 OPM program as polishing at the fastest speed possible increases vibration and prematurely wears away your compound or polish. With the 1000W motor and 5000 OPM offering, you’re letting the pad and chemical do the work underneath a steady power plant of the SK Pro.

What causes swirls?
You’re probably wondering how your paint got into the condition that it is, to begin with… that answer is much more complex depending on the scenario but it's generally a mix of: Improper washing. Each time you touch your vehicle, whether to simply wipe it down, or to dry it after a foam bath with Car Shampoo, you run the risk of damaging your finish and swirling your paint. A dirty drying towel, not using a drying aid to aid in lubrication on the surface, not utilizing a Grit Guard or Dirt Lock to clean out your Wash Pad… All items to introduce micro-marring, swirl marks, or deeper scratches into your finish. We have provided the safest, and most process-focused tools to enhance and elevate your detailing experience, not just for us, but for our customers.
