Picked up a 16 ounce bottle at my local customs shop to use on the stock 19" rims off my 2016 Ford Mustang. I had recently rode my brakes down to metal so my rear wheels were caked with dust and rust. I had tried other cleaners but none had worked and after 3 months of hating the wheels, I swapped them for a custom summer set. Now that I'm getting the car prepped for rainy and icy season in New York, I decided to make use of the stock rims with some chunky all season tires. I sprayed some of this mixture all throughout the spokes and barrel of the wheel and let it sit for about 5 minutes before I went to agitate it. I knew the rims were filthy but when I saw a fully purple rim, I knew this stuff was gonna work. When I tell you that on my first try, I ate through almost all the surface dirt and rust, I'm really not kidding. I had forgotten how shiny the rims could be. For good measure and to hit some spots I missed with the brush, I did it a second time and voila, the rims were like brand new aside from some road and pothole scuffing. Paired with the tire and rubber cleaner, I had what looked like an awesome new set of wheels and tires. Very happy with this purchase and I will be recommending it to all the customer at my body shop.
The product cleans well as described and it was enough for my three day old BBS FORGED RIMS BLK POWDERCOAT. Bought a gallon and so far been a great addition to my car detail program. Dont plan on heavy off road just enjoying life and product did not stain or damage the finish. Obviously rims cold to the touch early morning wash. Not to much purple changing but the vehicle is three days old. IT WORKS.

Adam's Wheel Cleaner can be sprayed on these little trouble areas and used to dissolve the iron from these surfaces as well. Make sure to rinse very thoroughly afterward, and do not allow the clear to dry onto any surfaces.
