It doesn't last longer than a few weeks. I like it because I find hanging/dangling fresheners in the car annoying. It is kept out of the way and definitely makes the car smell nice. I haven't seen any discoloration of plastic and I've used 3 so far. I would recommend if you're looking for a low profile solution to a car scent.
I am an Adams only detailer. That being said I was disappointed to receive these Adam's Car Coaster Strawberry Air Freshener with absolutely no scent on them.
